1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UnderPrep ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf before you may use the Platform.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

UnderPrep is a free, web-based exam preparation platform for students preparing for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, and NEET. The Platform provides:

• Full-length and subject-wise mock tests replicating the NTA CBT experience
• Comprehensive post-test analytics including 4-way error classification, time heatmaps, and chapter-wise accuracy
• 97,000+ previous year questions organized by subject, chapter, and topic
• Topic-wise quick quizzes for daily practice
• Study materials including formula sheets, reference PDFs, and handwritten notes
• Progress tracking across all tests taken

The Platform is entirely free for students. Revenue is generated through non-intrusive Google AdSense advertisements (displayed only on browsing pages, never during tests) and optional coaching institute sponsorships.

3. Eligibility

• The Platform is open to all students preparing for JEE or NEET examinations
• Users under 18 years of age must have verifiable parental or guardian consent as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• You must not create multiple accounts

4. Accounts & Registration

You may create an account using Google OAuth or email/password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, manipulate test results, or exploit platform vulnerabilities
• Share your account credentials with others
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to test questions, study materials, PDF documents, analytics tools, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of UnderPrep or its content suppliers and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and international copyright treaties.

• You may use study materials solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes
• You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any Platform content
• Downloaded PDFs are for your personal study use only

7. Test Rules & Academic Integrity

• Tests must be taken individually without external assistance (unless specified)
• Your test responses are auto-saved every 30 seconds and submitted on timer expiry
• Scores, percentiles, and ranks are calculated based on all test takers on the Platform

8. Content Disclaimer

While we strive to ensure that all questions, answers, solutions, and study materials are accurate and up to date, UnderPrep makes no warranties regarding the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any content. The Platform is a supplementary study tool and is not a substitute for formal instruction, official textbooks, or coaching. If you find any errors in questions or solutions, please report them to us.

9. Advertising & Sponsorships

• Google AdSense advertisements are displayed at the bottom of browsing pages (test listings, PYQ browser, materials, etc.)
• Advertisements are never shown during active mock tests, quick quizzes, or while reading study materials
• Coaching institute sponsorships appear as a single line of text on test listing cards and result pages (e.g., "Powered by [Coaching Name]")
• UnderPrep does not endorse any advertised products, services, or coaching institutes
• For minor users, only non-personalized, contextual advertisements are served

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform links to or integrates with third-party services including:

• Google — for OAuth login and AdSense. Governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Discord — our community server for peer doubt-solving. Governed by Discord's Terms of Service (users must be 13+ per Discord's rules)

We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of any third-party service.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UnderPrep shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in Platform content
• Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss
• Unauthorized access to our servers or your personal data
• Actual exam results that differ from Platform analytics or predictions

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Sections on Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
